Whats so special about VTEC engines???

its kool phatbimmer, we all supposed to be mates, we all know its not nice to get personal, brahtw8 something for you, talking about lambo, ferrari etc yesterday after a wedding there was some awesome vehicles puttin up a show, starting with the a pearlescent yellow murcilago, he launched it to about 100mph on a strip near by, followed by a 360 modena, followed by a 355 spider, followed by another 355 spider and then a carrera gt3, this was all about 11pm at nite, the sounds of the vehicles were awesome! echoing at nite, what more can you as for, especially when u dnt have to pay to watch lolz

...Nothinghave you lost the plot! honda dnt make turbo cars, so how can u say get verifiable information that a STOCK 1.8 vtec turbo outperforms a viper, what i think you need to do is go to the nearest hospital immediately, straight to the emergency department, and as soon as u can in to the operation theatre for a brain surgery!!!
Hey VTEC Turbo....just curious at to what "dat" and "rong" and "gona"and "wots" and "da"and "nuttin" is or are? I thought they spoke English in the U.K....did I miss a retranslation of core English words? and lastly was this Viper you are talking about on the back end of a tow truck? Lay off the Crack man. You are comparing Apples to Oranges, I am sure for what you paid for your "VTEC" is reasonable for the performance you get. A 10 sec Viper beats a Corvette ZO6 and there is NO F'in WAY IN HELL THAT A 1.8 LTR VTEC beats a Vette chief. Lets talk stamina shall we......nobody drives just for 10 seconds or just a 1/4 mile so those numbers mean shit to me. Bring your little VTEC down here to Germany and run on the Autobahn with me for 150-200k's...you would have me off the line for a 1/4 mile or so, but I can cruise at 140 mph for hours on end not breaking 4000 rpms, Your VTEC is shit for distance and you know it. If I seem a bit hostile...then so be it....You came to a BMW forum and started talking trash about your VTEC Honda. Acura NSX should not even be considered a Honda...what a disgrace to that awsome peice of machinery. Sorry no hard feelings.

Its all cool brother.........but you had to know that a Honda owner coming to a Bimmer forum and trying to make comparisons was going to rock some boats. I am narrow minded ...no doubt....I just cannot see owning another Honda, (I had a 97 Civic EX Si, new) and I was not impressed, owned it for 2 years and traded it for an Explorer....an even BIGGER piece of crap. To me there are many , many great cars that I cannot afford, so I bought what I felt was the BEST car I could get for my money. BIMMER FOR LIFE BROTHER...Dig it?
