Go to bmwusa.com and configure one, starting at $81,200!!!!!!!!!!

It seems you can only get a 7-speed SMG transmission right now, though.

I was under the impression that they were already out in the states, they have been out here for a minute, I see quite a few of them around the city I live in. Still makes my heart swell when I see one.

Nice I'm anxious for my dealer to get one. I'll go take pics.
I saw it at the Houston car show last year, that thing is a real sexy beast. Seems like at $81k its a bargain for prices these days.

BMW was aiming straight for the E55 AMG with their new M5.

Chesty, the E55 has traction control up the wazoo so I guess it doesn't need the LSD?
Not the same at all though. Just kind of mimmics the LSD though the merc isn't quite as sport oriented as the M5. I'm sure you'll see tons more m5's at a track or autocross than e55 amg's.

Hehe, good luck! Most BMW dealers have a waiting list and all the ones coming in are usually gone very fast. If you happen to be there when they arrive and/or when they are prepping it you may get lucky, but don't bet on one being on the showroom floor for some time. They are in high demand and rightfully so.....

LOL What is Active Width Adjustment? Is this for fat-ass Americans? [confused]
The side bolsters are power adjustable, and when you press the "M" button (M Track Mode), the side bolsters automatically close in on your sides to hold you tighter.
