I don't understand why people are so surprised the V10 in the new M5 revs so high - it's crank is quite a bit shorter, and very roughly based off their formula 1 engine... I think that's why the new M5 will be so incredibly popular in europe since the 5 series is already probably the most popular model across sea's, and now they are getting an M5 with a V10 like a f1 car, shift lights like an f1 car, and smg like an F1 car.

Haha, and sounds like a F1 car....
