Well guys and girls.....for the finale....you ought to live in my world.......
My girlfriend and I decided to go riding, yes she's blonde, it was 63 today (sorry), so we had to do what we had to do.......rode to Galveston, all over Houston. We witnessed some action, camaro pulled in front of me approaching a red light, mustang pulled to my right and stopped beside me instead of going all the way to the light, they both started revving their engines, I shook my head "NO", so the Camaro pulled out of our lane and got in front of the Mustang, so the Mustang pulled into the far right lane to be lined up....they both took off, went about 50 feet and saw "BIG CURVE" and slammed the brakes...I was laughing....all day cars wanted to mess with us, my girlfriend kept saying, where's all the guys our age, my reply, duh watching the ballgame, she was infatuated with the muscle attention. I told her my car was just a "pretty boy" so we whimper and sniffle along each time a car wants our attention. BUT, on Westhheimer, I'm stopped at a red light and a older 3 series pulls up with two young guys, I smile, they smile, the light turns green and neither of us moved.......we just started pacing. Stop at the next red light, I smile again and they start varooming their car. It sounded more like a varoom buzz, so I figured it was modified, but this was our only chance. My "pretty boy" needed some action at least once that was for real. Light turns green (I didnt floor it because I remember you all saying there will be a lag), so I gunned it, not floored it, sport mode, I could hear him shift, his car starting whining and buzzing at a high pitch, he was ahead then by about 1/2 a car length, I'm thinking, jeez my car is going to cry the whole way home, then I heard his car shift again and we were about even, his car was really getting high pitched and I knew he had to shift soon, so I just concentrated, let my car do what its suppose to do, he finally shifts and my car pulled ahead, we were then 1 1/2 car length ahead.....he slowed down and moved over two lanes away from me......I was laughing, my girlfriend was going, oh my gosh, I cant believe you did that, I said, this is the one time my "pretty boy" gets to shine, this is all he is going to get, so he better be happy. They didnt even congratulate me........jeez Louise.......dropped my girlfriend off and told my car this is it Buster, remember this day...its your last........I am wore out from all the excitement, we are too old for this.........so guys, I'm through, I can live with a "pretty boy." I will live through your eyes...........
