Scenario this evening at gas station between BMW (me) and ASC (American Sports Car).....guy walks over to my car (top is down, shining from being detailed).

ASC: Hey, beautiful ride.
BMW: Thanks.
ASC: Is this car fast?
BMW: No
ASC: You sure about that.
BMW: Well, it only has 225 horsepower, it'll go when I need it to.
ASC: Hmmmmm, want to race after we finish filling up our tanks.
BMW: What ya driving?
ASC: (Points to a shiny, red TransAm or Camaro with big spoiler on back).
BMW: What's your horsepower?
ASC: 425
BMW: (Laughing) Don't you think you ought to pick on someone your own horsepower size?
Maybe you should start with a M3, not a 330.
ASC: Nah, I've raced them before and won.
BMW: Must of been a bad driver.
ASC: Nah, really, actually have raced twice and won both times.
BMW: Are you sure it was a M3?
ASC: No, I think it was a M5.
BMW: Race a M3 and get back with me and pick some curves, anybody can race straight-line.
ASC: Why don't we try yours out anyways?
BMW: I dont need to, mine looks better than yours just sitting here.
ASC: Well arent you the uppity bitch.
BMW: Yep, but an uppity bitch with a BMW...........laughing.......

Sorry guys, I dont usually like to pull the "attitude" card, but I was minding my own business and some guys need to pick on guys their own size. I know some of you would of been chomping at the bit........but hey you already told me I cant even beat a 2004 Nissan Maxima....

Hey - I resent that! [B)] Not everyone who has a muscle car is a "Mullet-head." It's like saying that BMWs and "uppity bitches" go hand in hand. I dare say that not everyone that drives a BMW is an uppity bitch.

However, clearly this guy was an arrogant immature idiot. Even if I was into the whole street-racing thing, I wouldn't even think about suggesting a race with a 330cic if I was in my Camaro. They are two very different cars with very different designs and purposes - it's a stupid matchup. I mean, is this guy that insecure that he needs to smoke a 225hp BMW to make himself feel good? What a moron. By the way, I doubt this guy was pushing 425hp. He'd have to have himself some pretty serious modifications if this was a naturally aspirated LT-1 powered F-body and some decently serious modifications if it was a naturally aspirated 98 or newer LS-1 powered F-body (unless he's got some big supercharger under the hood, and any moron can bolt on a supercharger kit on these cars).
