Looks like a good year for GM to me. I watched a few of these races, while keeping up with some local buds/BMW freaks that drive/pitwork for a BMW racing team. They had a disappointing summer, while the Vette's continued to win..
Now if you'd like to spend a few hours recounting BMW vs Vette history to really see who has more GT/GTS/La Mans wins then go for it, I'm comfortable with my statement still, the fact alone that they have a rich racing history dating back to the 50's speaks volumes for them itself. Even if they don't have 'as many' wins (Let me know if you start counting!), the point stands that the cars deserve the respect and attention that they are getting on their own abilities these days.
