What a doggone minute....how can you have Ferrari up there and not have on single Lambo??? That is sacrilegious since they are direct competitors.....
True! I agree you can't have Ferrari without Lamborghini. You could put just about any Ferrari up there and steal my affection.... I love most all Ferrari's...

Well theres no question here. When the ME Four-Twelve comes out, it will smoke all the competition. 0-60 is estimated in the high 2 second range, and its only going to weigh around 3000lbs. Power-to-weight will be better than all the comp. - 850 hp and 850 lb.-ft.

It's still a Chrysler though [thumbd]

When? More like if ...

Even if it does come out, I doubt it'll post the concept-car specs...

Looks like a similar situation to the truly insane Bugatti Veyron. The car has had so many mechanical troubles since it was released as a concept car 4 years ago that it may not even make production. Thank God.

I LOVE BMW with all my heart...........that being said, I would NEVER spend 380,000 on a BMW let alone a 3series........even if it was a GTR. Don't flame me I said I love the 3 series, just not for close to half a mil.

But it is the GT-R!!!! With the similar stats as a Ferrari or Lambo then it isnt surprising that it costs so much even if it is a BMW.....

Yes, but alot of what you are paying for with a Ferrari or Lambo is the prestige, exoticness, and all out outrageousness of the car. This looks like a "riced" 3 series, and to most people, nothing more than a $30k 325i. Someone who knows nothing about cars would know that a Ferrari or Lambo is something special.

and those same people are able to buy those cars as toys......we are asking the question of people on BMWboard...not everyday Joe Schmo or Bourgeois rich types....am i right or wrong? If I had money like that I WOULD buy a Ferrari..maybe even an Enzo(even though I dont really like the styling....Murcielago before that)...but I would also get a M3 GTR....V8 444hp, 0-60 3.3sec.....it would be the ultimate sleeper against those Ferrari and Lambo drivers.......LOL

That is probably the greatest BMW ever built and quickest... some "expert" reviewing the M6 called it the fastest BMW ever built at 0-60 in 4.4 seconds. If I had the money to have a museum-type race car sitting in my garage I would definately buy it. Who cares if nobody important notices it or thinks it's exotically prestigious... it's all in the drivers head.

When the Ferrari drivers and even the road ricers get it handed to them, they'll notice. [bmwkick] [burnout]

Without question the Mclaren F1.

As someone said earlier- none of us are in any position to make a judgement, seeing as I doubt most of us have even seen all of the cars listed- let alone, have driven even one of them. So for me to say which is the best is kind of like me trying to diagnose someone with a sore throat and a stomach ache.

While numbers do account for something; each and every car listed is properly and comparatively quick. Choosing an Enzo over a Carrera GT because it's 0-60 is .2 seconds faster is really a moot point when you're spending over six hundred thousand dollars on a car.

With that in mind, I take my personal opinions and baises and match them up with what i've seen and read from people who actually do know what they're talking about... Any both them and I agree: hands down, the best super car ever made is the McLaren F1.

Sure, there will always be a faster car, but few will be able to match the near flawless craftmanship and enginuity that went into making the F1. Oh granted, each of the cars listed are superb automobiles, and I would revel in the opportunity to drive any one of them; but at the end of the day- after taking into account all the variables as to what makes a super car great, and even after 10 years, the F1 still wins.

...I've only seen the F1 3 times in person and im almost positive that two of those were the same car (Leno's- the other one being in the dealership in london). I almost crashed upon seeing it, riding in one- i'd probably wet myself, driving one- i'd probably cry with happiness, and owning one- well... I'll let you know what happens when I buy it ;)

You know what is interesting? I have seen the 0-60 times quoted as 3.1 to 3.2 secs.....the M3 GTR is 3.3secs.......in America MOST of the time you are doing between 0-75/80......so price wise....you could save money with the M3 GTR but for exsclusivity the Mclaren F1 is niiiiiice....wait a minute....they only made about 100 M3 GTR's too....so both cars are exsclusive

Yeah, but not really. To 99% of the people out there, the GTR is no more exclusive than any of the other hundreds of thousands 3-series out there.
