Very nice Adam, congratulations on the Rover and the new addition to the family. I am not a big Rover fan (no real reason), I could convert...hehe), but that is hot and looks bad to the bone!
Thanks Dan. I have never been a Land Rover fan either. I always thought of them as big, bloated, unreliable English beasts (with awesome 4x4 capabilities). I have to admit...I am VERY impressed with this car. Everything works so well, and the build quality and solidity is amazing. The gas mileage is enough to make a grown man cry though...but what can one expect from a 400hp SUV that weighs 6000 lbs? [wiggle]

Congrats on the coming addition to your family. Probably the first 3 months are the worst. My only advice is what our nurse told us: teach the little guy to sleep (in a few months, obviously not right away). That involves putting up with some crying (good exercise for his lungs, anyway), but pays off in the long run.

The car looks great. He'll enjoy his little mini theater in the back seat.

Just looking ourselves to replace a Lexus RX with either an X5 or 530--leaning towards the X5 to have some more room for our son and his friends.
Thanks too. Get the X5, they are truly awesome cars/SAVs. We have been told by a lot of people about teaching the sleep patterns, and it is the only way for the household to sleep. Scared, but sooo excited. Thanks a lot!!

In regards to the 4.8is thread...
My bad. The X5 is gone in the sense that we keep it at our business facility, as we have outgrown our parking places at home. We have a 17,000 sq ft manufacturing building, with lots of indoor, protected "parking" areas. So, I should have been more specific in what I meant in "4.8is gone". It's "gone" from our garage, but it's at work, and gets driven all the time.

Sorry for the confusion Steve. Wow, I think I'm totally done with this thread. My cars are my cars, and that's just it!!! I would like to add a 335i coupe to the collection soon!! Then maybe the X5 4.8is will be gone! And I will make sure to notify you, and send you a copy of the purchase agreement, or pink slip if I just buy it!!!
