I didn't really mean it in a bad way. The suv is extremely hot IMO, I'm not a fan of that grill though. I think if it were in black I'd like it. I was out the door on my way to work and should've taken the time to write a full post [hihi]
Thanks Eric! The grill does come standard in black on the "regular" non-supercharged model. I like the black a lot too, but having it in silver, just makes it stand out (I guess) from the other model. Again, thanks man for the post [drinking]

I'm anxious to see the e92 coupe... it looks alright in the pics, and the intercooler on the front of the 335i is pretty menacing! Plus the fact that ALL new bmw's in manual are 6 speed...

I like the grill myself(it looks better than an Audi grill..ewww). And what is with all the Ford bashing? In the past I havent liked their cars(mid to late 90's to be exact) but their new designs have been inspired(namely the New Ford Focus and the new Mustang) so I will give them a little slack compared to other American Company's....not to mention many of their European models look 10 times better than their American counterparts!

Thanks Scott. In person the grill looks hot, and does set it apart from other Rovers!

Thanks Emile & Duff! Yeah, the engine is made by Jaguar in jolly old England...and is not shared with FORD :). Land Rover dropped the old BMW X5 V8 they had been using...it was/is a great engine, just underpowered for the monsterous Range Rover. I really never even considered Range Rover, but I was blown away with the drive, electronics (who'd ever thought electronics and the British?), fit and finish, performance, comfort, etc...

Lovin' it.

Thanks for the nice comments [;)]

Boy ain't that the truth! Those two word (British/electronic) have never gone hand in hand....

Maybe they finally figured it out.... [;)]

P.S. Your life will forever be changed (for the better IMO) with a little one running around. Do you know if it will a little he or she yet? Be prepaid to be tired from sunup til sundown....

:) I think the Krauts, need to take some electronic classes from the Limeys. That would be a first, but I think the Brits have really done it. Look how well Jaguar does in consumer reports (not the Consumer Reports), but consumers :)

We're having a boy!!! So excited. Everyone keeps scaring us about how tired we'll be. I think they're just trying to scare us (wishful thinking on my part). If it was so hard/bad...people wouldn't keep on having kids. Right??? [B)]

Does your suv have the hill descent control? That is a pretty crazy feature.
Yeah, it does, and 5 other offroad settings (sand, snow, gravel, rough terrain/hills, etc, etc)

The dealer has this insanely steep rock track built on premises. We tried it (not in my car :), but in another Rover. This car can do some amazing stuff. A few times, I just kept waiting for the laws of physics and gravity to slap us in the face...but the Range Rover just kept on going!! Way cool!!

First congrats on having(or getting ready to) a baby boy! We are outnumbered by the women so having a little more testosterone is a good thing!...LOL..j/k ladies!
Yeah its not going to be EXACTLY sunup to sundown...but expect to get your sleep in little spurts. And be able to drop into a nap on a dime....like when he takes his nap..thats your cue! You wont mind to much though because of the joy you will feel at him being YOURS and only YOURS to take care of. Your own created flesh and blood really changes your perspective of what you will or wont do for someone...or how much patience you can/will have.....

GREAT CHOICE!!!! I haven't driven one myself but everyone raves about them here in the UK and they have more of a presence than all the 4x4 vehicles like the BMW X5 etc. They are built fairly well now and have some clever electronics too - In my opinion its the best looking 4x4 on the road at the moment. I have no doubt you will enjoy this vehicle for a long time!!!

That 4.2ltr V8 Supercharged 400bhp engine is a peach as its from Jaguar and I test drove a Jaguar S Type R recently, amazing engine and automatic gearbox combo!

Very nice Adam, congratulations on the Rover and the new addition to the family. I am not a big Rover fan (no real reason), I could convert...hehe), but that is hot and looks bad to the bone!

Congrats on the coming addition to your family. Probably the first 3 months are the worst. My only advice is what our nurse told us: teach the little guy to sleep (in a few months, obviously not right away). That involves putting up with some crying (good exercise for his lungs, anyway), but pays off in the long run.

The car looks great. He'll enjoy his little mini theater in the back seat.

Just looking ourselves to replace a Lexus RX with either an X5 or 530--leaning towards the X5 to have some more room for our son and his friends.

Thanks DSK. I am really impressed by the engine and transmission too. I agree, that when you see my car parked next to an X5, Cayenne, ML.....the Range Rover Sport has great presence. I love it.
