Gas Prices

This is a complicated thread of us international types. I paid Cdn$0.87/litre this morning! So...having converted Cdn$0.87 to US$ equals US$0.65. Then converting litres to US (not Imperial) gallons (they're 3.78 times as large as litres) leads me to believe I've paid US$2.46 per US gallon...whew...that was exhausting!

Hehe... anyway average Sydney price is $AU 0.90 per litre for regular unleaded.
That equates to $USD 0.693 per litre or about $2.62 per gallon.

It was $2.04 for 92-octane gas in Seattle yesterday. It's been a while since I saw the gas price go above $2.00/gallon...

man, all u guys are paying really cheap prices. $2.45 for chevron 91 by my apartment, I fill up at my work which so far has the cheapest I've seen in my area which is a shell station that charges $2.25 a gallon for premium(91)

We're going down - $1.72 per gallon - Monday, March 2nd

Premium here went from $1.69 at the beginning of last week to $1.79, then down to $1.71 and today back up to $1.81. Like a rollercoaster. It always leaves me thinking I got ripped off if it drops right after I buy it high. Or I end up trying to stretch a tank if I'm hoping it will drop. Pretty dumb, really. At most it means a couple of bucks difference. I blow 5 times that much on lunch every day.

Here is a link to gas prices by state. They say 2.25 here but I sure don't know where they found it, must be Reno.
