BMW M5 and Lexus IS 350...

Says the man that has a RX300, and a Pilot, and a G35. He's on the japanese side..

Ive seen lexus commercials, everytime I see one it bothers me.

I've owned and probably will own nothing but german made cars, but the IS350 is pretty cool IMO. Would I buy one over a BMW? Nope.

I talk to elussive all the time on AIM about cars. He knows what he's talking about and probably has more experience in and around a lot of these cars than any of us.

To be honest both cars are ugly as shit, I hate E60 design! What they have done to the fine lines of E39! Still can't believe it! BMW always been the car I admire, but seeing E60 to me is like seeing maimed beauty, so inharmonic and unnatural it seems.

Lol, good point. I totaly agree with you. I have always loved the new bimmers every year they came out, till the last few years. I do like the 2006 3 Series though, I think it looks quite nice. They definatly screwed up the 5, 7, and 6 Series though. Some can look alright with aftermarket parts, but for the most part the design was dissapointing.

I like the new 5's. I didn't like the new 7's until they came out with the recent facelift. I do not like the new 6's...I think BMW could have done such a better job and made it this pimp daddy sports coupe, but they screwed up so bad. The new 6 does not even come close to living up to the old 6, visually.

They could make new models cool and sporty in the best traditions of BMW, I saw some prototype pictures of new models and few of them actually looked cool. Instead they chose the ugliest design ever in history of BMW.

Looks are completely subjective, though. What is beautiful to you can be absolute trash to somebody else.

I see the new 5's running around my area a decent amount now. They are great-looking cars in my eyes, from the front, the rear, and the side. I bet a 550i Sport in 6-speed manual kicks ass.

I actually thought the sonata to be such a nice car, I almost traded my 330 in for one... The salesman told me I would get cash back and it would be a first for him.

Notice how Hyundai has added bmw-like features into that car, and they even mirror their website off the bmw style with their hyundaiusa.com, but the car does have a lot of 3 series like features on it for a 20k car.
