Thanks a bunch. I guess I lucked out. The bank didnt even get an application started when I told them vehicle specifics and for what price. They just said "your approved". They informed me that it retailed for $43K. Dont know if I should believe that because KBB had it for a little less.

ditto Tom's post, that's a good price for a '03 530i.

How much are you getting on your trade-in? (Thats the kicker, you could get alot more just selling your car vs. trading, but that can take time)

My trade was $27,250. More than KBB and Edmunds. So I am not losing much on it. I tell ya, I LUCKED out. The sales people were amazing. They were really nice.
I still cant believe I would be able to buy a 2003 5 anything. Original looking at 00,01. Im am in cloud nine.

The 540i would have been pimp as shit to whip around in (the engine is strong). My friend has an 03 530i, it is an amazing vehicle. Congrats on the car, enjoy it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, just got back from my mission. The drive back was just pleasure. Not that the 325i was not, but damn, the 530i is sweet. Ended up with $34K even with spliting the balance of my trade. Someone is looking out for me. I will post some pics as soon as I get some shut eye. Seems impossible right know cause I find myself glued to the living room window enjoying the view. I think a little more drool will loosen me up. Pics coming soon.

Thanks. I could not believe it myself either. I still miss our 325i, but had to start planning for some future little BMW fans. So the 530i was the best choice. Still cant manage to shrink my pictures so I can share them here.
