Very biased and misleading, Eric. Put twin turbos and intercoolers and a dry sump lubrication system on the Corvette, and see what it'll do. I'm tired of hearing this "Chevy
only gets 400 hp out of 6.0liters while X car company can get almost that out of an engine half that size." Well, the reason Porsche can produce that much power with an engine smaller than the Vette's is because the Porsche has two big hairdryers, radiators for its intake air, DOHC, 4 valves/cylinder, dual ignition, etc. You can't get simpler than the Corvette's engine.
Yeah, you are right - the Porsche produces the same power out of a smaller engine. But, it doesn't magically do so. It's a much more complex set up and it isn't naturally aspirated.
And, all I've heard about Porsche lately is how crappy the interior build quality is in the 911.
And you talk about the magazines doing a poor review.
