this guy knows what he is talking about
a friend of mine is out skiing with me this week, he is considering a 650... i told him if he only wants a car for 2 years go ahead, otherwise get a 997 911S. not a whole lot more, i'd talk him into an m6, but i think the 911 will be cheaper, even if only by a couple grand. oh yeah and timeless styling.
this is a very unanswerable question. both are pretty close to each other yet still very differnet cars and styles/moods. in my eyesm the benz would make the cut. i don´t like the convertible version of the 6er that much and the benz looks gorgeous. i have to admit that.
i alos heard only good stuff regarding the 7 speed auto. it always sorts the right gears without the driver noticing it. very good car. the only thing it lacks is some sporty character that engine and expection make you wish.
bottom line: good descision, and following ying and yang, it is good to combine good (bimmer in this cas) with bad (banz in this case) at an equal ratio of 1:1![[:)]](/images/smilies/smile.png "Smile [:)]")
