My CD changer hasn't recognized a CD in 3 months. Uggggh. I've just been playing my iPod. Kid Rock. [headbang]

maybe the CD brand is bad...this happened to me once where the CD's were just bad and couldn't be read by the burner, but i got an error message when burning

TECHNO - everything techno, from progressive trance to drum n bass to hard house. i do have some regular cds in the case as well like 311 and stp, but techno is what keeps me alive

aNoodle, are you sure you finalize all the CD's you burn? Or are you saying that your CD changer doesn't recognize ANY kind of CD?

Ha. No, actually the unit is shot, I've tried so many different CDs. Not too bad I guess for six years old this November (at least the navigation cd unit hasn't died on me). Seems like they should last longer. The stealership wants something like $100 just to send it in to the center that looks at them. I've been meaning to try a friend's magazine in my player...maybe it's just the 6 CD cartridge deal that is broken. I figured I'd try that before doing anything. But then for a couple hundred dollars, can't I get a new one?
