Looks like eBay pulled it. I am anxious to see if the FBI responds to my email to them about this guy.
This guy sounds EXACTLY like the guy who tried to sell me an 2003 M5 for 26k.
"As I said I'm selling it because my company relocated to London, UK. The car is back home in US, in California.
That is not a problem as I can arrange shipping to you.
Shipping will be around $500, but I can agree to split it with you, so the total that you will pay for the car will be $26,250.00
After you will receive it you will have a 3 days inspection period for you to check it out, and in the event you don't like it you will not pay for anything. I know my car and I know it's flawless so you will have no reason to reject it.
The car is from 2003 and has 16k miles.
I'm willing to ship you the car for inspection without any deposit or money in advance. All I want is a proof that you indeed have the money.
I talked to my banker and he said that he can verify a cashier check. So here is what you have to do:
You will have to go to the bank and make out the cashier check on my name for the total price of the car and after that send me a copy of it by email.
I will go to the bank with the copy of the cashier check and have my banker look at it and let me know if it's ok, and check it out through the banking system. That will probably take 2 or 3 days. After he says everything it's ok I will have the car shipped to you and once you receive it and inspect it you will have to send me the cashier check.
Let me know if this is ok with you.
Regards"
lol sounds nearly the same, this guy is definitly a scammer, not the first time I seen him, there is also a another guy who supposedly had a M3 here in the states but he was in greece. Blah blah BS. Anyway... I wouldnt buy a car on ebay more than one or two states away. Before we went and bought the Ml55 we actually went to the dealership which was in CT.
