I think drivers who don't use their turn signals should be in the top 2. Not only is it mad dangerous, but it royally pisses me off!!

What pisses me off is "left foot brakers"

The lazy asses who brake with their left food.. and REST their foot on the brake, so their brake lights are on 100% of the time.

the worst one of all that is probably also one of the most dangerous is pulling out about 5 feet after the limit line or the stop line. people are waaay too lazy to stop twice and becareful and watch for pedestrians.
alos i admit i was speeding, which by the way dominates all the most hazardous habits, i was speeding and i turned a sharp corner at about 40 squeeling my tires and there was like a 2006 lexus turning coming my way but although the lane was about 2 car widths wide he turned and used part of my lane as i was squeeling around the corner which made both of us have to swerve out of the way. i was in my lane but i didn't want to take the chance. oh and my car is all-wheel drive so i was in control the whole time.

you know what really pisses me off i had some guy brake check me today, like he accually slamed on his brakes in the middle of the highway in his shitty ford escort i was so pissed off that some one accaully tryed to do that, i was driving in the left lane in i was gearing down b.c this ass was going so slow and he hits his brakes i was like wtf who does that

I hate that the "fast lane" (right lane here) is the speeding lane. If I want to use it doing the speed limit to overtake people, I'm tailgated by stupid f**** that constantly speed when I'm completely abiding by the law. Also people that use that lane under the speed limit, that's annoying. I now stop accelerating when I am being tailgated, I roll... haha, really shits them!

Big problem here too is the "Left Lane Hogs"! Worst truckers here are the ones from Canada, they use any lane, tailgate and are always going faster than the speed limits. Where is a cop when you need one?

I was going down to Chicago one time, and a chick ahead of me had her brake on from Madison to the I-90/264 interchange by O'Hara Airport! She never took it off, it only went off when she was leaving the toll booths.

Pay attention sometime to who drives like that, no turn signals, change lanes with cars next to them, tailgate, drive slow; it is always Japanese Car drivers!

Distracted drivers talking on cell phones seems to be the most annoying driving habbit nowadays. Soooo many people talk on the phone while driving now and it obliterates most of their safe driving practices, and for some reason, cuts their patience in half.

I don't really mind tailgaters though. Most tailgating takes place when you're in the fast lane and the car behind you wants to go faster. Just move the hell over and let the person over-take you...just because you don't want to speed doesn't mean everybody else can't.

Except that here in the US if you were driving properly once you were passed the car on your right you would move over and the left lane would be open. Tailgating is dangerous and annoying!

Over here in Germany you are supposed to get over also but if you dont get up on the tail of the person in front of you they assume you are going their speed and will not get over until ready too...get in their tail and the attitude is: "oh he must want to pass me" and usually they will get over with no problem and you can keep on going.......just a different attitude...and most of the time slower cars will NOT hog the left lane....

It's not a driving habbit, but I hate dump trucks carrying sand, rock, dirt, whatever. They never really cover the back of the truck so it basically sandblasts your hood.

No. If I'm overtaking in the process, according to the speed limit, you don't have a right to tailgate. When I'm done, of course I'll move.

Maybe Down Under.......but in Germany they would tailgate the hell out of you.....not to mention having a long line of cars behind you all waiting to past your slower moving vehicle.....if you have the space then get back over and THEN overtake....I mean if the are tailgating you and you are right next to the vehicle that you want to pass then I would agree with you....

Where do you people come from where people drive under the speed limit? In Knoxville, it's genereally accepted that the "speed limit" is the number on the sign, plus 10. And pretty much every where else I've driven, if you're not going around 5 over, you're slow. Overtaking happens way above the speed limit because everyone except great-grandma is doing 5 over to begin with.

I'll tell you what's REALLY annoying. You come to an intersection and there is a left turn lane and a right turn lane. While you're waiting for a break in traffic to turn left in the left turn lane, someone pulls up next to you in the right turn lane and then turns LEFT in front of you! GRRRR!

As far as slow cars driving in the passing (left) lane, they're just ignorant idiots. I don't even wait for them to move. I just pass them on the right without hesitation.

I think that is a given, we all do, but too often the right lane is clogged up around here with other cars. Another bad habit here in the Seattle area is people turning right and going across two and sometimes three lanes moving all the way over to the left lane during the turn (happens the other way around too, turning left and moving all the way right)!
