Ok first off, I don't know why this video pisses me off, it just does. I think it's the fact that you can't see anything, or you don't know anything about what in the hell is going on. Perhaps it's also the fact that the stupid kid driving the 3000GT says, "DUDE M3'S SUCK!" in the beggining, failing to realize the car is worth more than him, the kid in the passenger's seat, and both of their families. Everyone yields to M3's, even the most hard-core redneck, european car-hating muscle car drivers. Also, when they challenge to race the M3, the driver doesn't even race, he just drives off the line like a normal person, ignoring the challengers of a battle that was won long before it even started. I don't know if this video has been posted before so I'll post it anyways.

I just want to know, what the hell happens at the end? I'm pretty sure the 3000GT's engine blows, but since the camera man is a dipshit you can't see anything at all. Every time I see this video I feel like punching my monitor. Don't ask me why.

YES! It was confirmed that the guy really was racing. The camera man wasn't doing a poor job...he was trying to hide the camera so the M3 driver wouldn't see it and get scared. It started up a shitstorm on bimmerforums.com.
His car is a heavily modded Eclipse (either NOS or turbocharged or both) with AWD. It finally gave up after mad abuse...in the middle of the M3 race.

No! It can't be true. The M3 driver wasn't racing, I won't accept it. He didn't even try to get off the line that quick it looked like he was driving completely normal.

First off it wasnt a 3000GT, it was a 2nd or 3'd generation DSM eclipse/talon. That's why it only has 4 cylinders. 3000GT's have 6 and are biturbo.

A 3000GT engine also wouldnt explode like that and most likely could kill an M3, especially a VR4.

The fact that a ricer in a 4cyl eclipse thinks he could take on an M3...then have his engine blow up is funny.

I have the 'Aftermath video" where the 2 kids are taking apart the blown up engine. Pretty damn funny!!!

You guys are forgetting that the Eclipse wasn't stock...that's why the engine gave out. Like I said before, it was turbocharged and running at high boost or it had NOS (more sure on it being turbocharged, though). The reason why he had a faster start was because the kid freaking dumped the clutch at 5,000+ rpm, and the AWD made the car grab the road and they just took off. I honestly don't see what the big deal about this is...they raced an M3, but the car gave out (due to their mods). At least they were winning before the engine blew.
