I think that Dinan is just WAY too late in the game for this product. The E46 3-Series are going to be taken over by the E90 3-Series and we already have a new 400hp V8 M3 in the works. The M3 came out like 4 years ago.....how much longer can M3 owners wait for this???

Personally, I'll wait until my warranty runs out. Assuming this, like other dinan products, won't void the warranty or free maint program.

I wonder if they doing anything else besides bolting the blower on. I mean, will they upgrade the ignition, fuel delivery and maybe lower the compression for reliablility?

I'm betting this package will be > $10K.

I agree that this product is a bit behind though.

I could care less about free maintenance and the warranty. If I had an M3 and was curious about the superchrager, I'd be more worried about how an engine running at 11.5:1 compression ratio (and an 8K rpm redline) would handle it.

I don't know though....if I owned an M3, I'd be looking into the potential of air intake, exhaust, chip, etc. rather than a supercharger since those mods provide better reliability. But that's just the route I'd take...I'm sure there are M3 owners lining up for that E46 M3 supercharger.
