I think your right. From the license plate, my first thought was Hong Kong (the name and the 188). However, I can't think of any place in Hong Kong that looks like that. The second picture has the taiwan flag flying I believe and the geography looks like it could be from Taiwan. A minor possibility might be Singapore since they speak chinese too and I've never been there so I can't rule it out by the background.

My bet is on Taiwan, as it's south-east Asia for sure. Maybe grunt can give us the source of the pics and clear this up once and for all. Finally we're back on topic...

P.S. Take off the stickers etc.. and repaint the trunk the color of the body and it looks pretty good, but that is just my .02.....
