rant: bmw loaners, only from your "home" dealership?

Houston BMW centers have the rule of only getting a loaner from the dealership purchased. I have raised this question several times due to the fact that the same consortium owns three of the BMW dealerships in town. Since I'm trying another dealership for all the rattles, I have my 30,000 mile oil change and rattle check scheduled for when I'm traveling in two weeks.

Century West BMW in Universal City, CA always provides us with a loaner. They "try" to give a BMW...which honestly does not happen very often unless you have a very serious problem, return for the same problem, or throw a tantrum in front of other customers :)

But I have always been given a loaner, even with short notice. All dealerships are really cracking down on how many loaner cars are provided, due to the super high volume of cars needing servicing/repairs!
