I wish Porsche would stick with sports cars. But, I guess the call of sales is too tempting. After all, a lot of rich people apparently have no taste. Just look at the sales of the Cayenne. That thing is absolutely hideous. Least this sedan isn't outright ugly. The backend doesn't flow well and it's very derivative of Mercedes and Ferrari in the sides and front, but at least it's not ugly.

I like it, but i think they should make it about $100,000 instead, so its still possible for SOME people to buy it, while still being very exclusive. Also, it really doesnt look like a sedan. If you moved the piller between the front and rear doors 6" back, and took the rear door handles off, it would look like a new porsche coupe that you would all be drooling over. I think it does a good job retaining the porsche shape and style, but they should make it more like a sports car (with little backdoors, and a useable back seat, almost like a Saturn Ion), or more like a sedan, with a real trunk, and make it compete with the Maserati. Right now it seems like those shoes with the pop out skates, theyre sucky shoes, and theyre sucky skates. Usually when something is trying to be two things, it does neither well, and this seems like the case

Does anyone else think it's nasty? I don't know, like some mentioned above, I was skeptical when Porsche introduced the Cayenne, but it's grown on me to the point where I am considering owning one. But the sedan at 200K, that's just ridiculous, especially since it's so ugly.

What's next: a Maserati sedan? Oh wait a sec.... [rolleyes]
I agree. I think it looks aweful. I'm actually not too opposed to the idea, but that is not a good way to launch it. It looks like a graphic artist has stretched out a coupe and put a 928 butt on it.
