Abdoman, you don't have to explain. That car is absolutely beautiful. When you can pick it up fully loaded for much less than a "lightly" loaded 325 I say go for it. That's all you have to say. What a steal is seems with all that comes on it. Post more pics of the car and the interior please....

Car looks great!

5 was just too expensive to keep. I had about $3k in it this year and then got an estimate for another $1.6k to fix a couple more things

I've got an older 5 series and was curious about what kind of repairs were involved?

Both rear window regulators
valve cover gasket
idle pulley
new struts (I struck a curb but it need them anyway)
idle control valve
headlight slides
a/c conmpressor
rear wheel bushings
oil leak from oil pan ($600)
blower regulator
front door seals

that's what I could think of off the top of my head, of course all the regular maintenance.

I don't mean to scare you - my car had 140k. I started really having problems at about 120k.

I looked at a ton of cars this weekend including the X Type. This is a sweeeet car! It’s a much better four-person car than mine which seems a lot more cramped after the X Type.

The X-Type is a lot of fun to drive, but I wouldn't recommend it withouth the sport package - it makes a huge difference.
