It's just hard to "jump ship" I have owned 5 Bimmers and I love the way they drive.
I am not complaining at all - the Jag is a very nice car. Its great to drive and it looks great. I had planned to keep my 5 series another 2 years, then purchase an M3. The 5 was just too expensive to keep. I had about $3k in it this year and then got an estimate for another $1.6k to fix a couple more things. Arrrgg it really hacked me off
because I really wanted to keep it so I could purchase an M3.
I don't know anyone at Ford, but this car has such a high rebate and the dealership worked the cost way, way down. I just couldn't pass it up. It is fully loaded with sport package, navigation, xenons, alpine stereo w/woofer, rain sensing wipers, heated seats and 18" wheels. It was quite a bit less than a lightly loaded 325. There was a personal issue that really made my mind up. I just never thought I would be driving a Jag over a Bimmer, but I really like it, a lot more than I thought I would.

Very cool. Is the monochrome treatment of the exterior and lack of chrome trim part of the sport package? My uncle's X-type has chrome trim all over the exterior. Congrats!
The sport package has no chrome.
