I look at that car and I see a blank canvas for every rice artist on the planet. Future ricers, all of them. [xx(] [thumbd]
Maybe they'll stop buying those retarded "Z3 Fenders" that are ugly as sin. I could definitely see some people buying these and putting aluminum wings (which only dent the trunklid) on the roof. [:(]

I’m not so sure about the ricer part, mainly because of the price. I am still not seing a lot of riced out A4’s, Acura TSX or TL, or Volvo S40 T5. I think in the end the price may be too high. Bringing up another point, if the price hits high 20’s like it appears is very likely, this is in the range of the A4 1.8T and a few others.

I know it is 11 secs, I saw a Top Gear episode on it, they were making fun of it. They were like this is how long 11 seconds is ( they start looking at their clocks ) ( 11seconds later ) ITS DOING 60!, they called it rubbish

Are you sure that was a 120i? they also were making a 1.6liter(dunno the designation), which I could see being slow, but not even 11 secs..

Dinan where did you find the 7.9 sec time? That actually sounds reasonable for a 2 liter 4 banger. 11 secs sounds like an auto in the rain at high altitudes, or something? [unsure] Heck what are the times for the 320i's in Europe (This would be the same engine, in a heavy 3 series body even..)

Ok, just to make it easy, I went and poked around on UK's BMW site, and found stats for a 320i 4 banger 3 series. The time for 0-60 is 8.3, and this is a heavy 3 series, the 1 series should be a few hundred pounds lighter, I'd guess. No way that's 11 secs??

Now here's the 316i, still a 3 series body, 10.9 secs (now that is slow)..

I got that time from BMW's website: http://www.bmw.com/generic/com/en/products/highlights/1series/1series/campaign/phase_2/main.html

And as we know it, BMW usually states a much slower 0-60 time than it really is. For example they say the Z4 will hit 60 in 5.7 or something, when it actually does it in 5.3. Top Gear is a really shitty show, it's fun to watch and stuff but for accurate car stats and everything it's the last place to look. How is it possible that a Pagani Zonda and Koenigsegg have slower lap times than the 911 GT3 RS? Considering the Koenigsegg hits 60 in 3 seconds flat, I don't see how that's possible. Plus that Jeremy Cricket guy is extremely biased which kind of gets on my nerves, even though he can be funny.
