I have a feeling those two pictures are photochopped...

BMW wouldn't build a mini M5...but resourceful photoshop owners would.

It will be for sale in the summer of 2006: that is amazingly good timing.

It looks cool, but I don't think those pics are real since at the GermanCarFans web site, it says "BMW M3 Impression" under the picture.

What made me puke was when they said "SMG transmission will come standard". So now only the regular BMW's will have the true form of manual and the M cars will just be completely lacking...makes NO sense at all.

All of you can hate it, but it is going to be an AMAZING machine....'nuff said.

Judging from the looks of the side mirrors, I'd say you are correct. Nevertheless, its a very good job.

hey, that red BMW isnt a photoshopped picture. I heard that it is a new model called the BMW M4.

Let me straighten things out for those of you who are confused:

You know how we have the 5-series and the 6-series now. BMW wanted to separate the 3-series sedans and coupes into the 3-series (sedans) and the 4-series (coupes). So there would be no 3-series coupe, only 4-series coupe. You turn the coupe into an M car, you have M4.

But, BMW decided NOT to use this system. The new 3-series will be coupes, sedans, and convertibles. So the next 3-series M coupe will still be the M3.
