New Acura TL (Pics)

Wow that is impressive...........I might have to "re-think" the whole buying a New BIMMER deal. I REALLY like those new Acuras....yes ME Mr. ANTI -RICE like the Acura

that's the a-spec right? the acura's version of 4grand perf package.
i like the TL, but it's got that feeling of being too thick? hard to explain, but the car has that bulky look for me..

Just to clear things up a little. the Honda Accord in Europe has an Acura equivilant, but it isnt the TL (or the CL), its the Acura TSX. That car is pretty much exactly the same thing as the European Accord, while the TL is a model higher up in the Acura lineup, although the new one takes its design cueues directly from the Euro Accord/TSX. The CL has always basically been a coupe version of the TL in essence, with very subtle modifications.

I like the looks of the TL better........looks a bit more sporty, without the HEAVY price tag.

I test drove both the RL and TL since my mom is in the market for a new car. (The tranny died on hers a couple weeks ago and the new one doesn't drive as good as it did before)...

I take favor to the TL cos of how it looks in person. Stunning. It has quite a bit of torque steer, however, I'm used to it since my car has it as well.

somehow the RL looks like a 6er in the back and mazda 3 w/ bigger lights up front.. the design makes the car look more compact.. at least in pics.

If I remember it correctly, didn't BMW co-design the Legend? (The last generation they sold here, at least)

Some BM-ness is evident in the new RL though. (i.e. the trunklid)

Tom - that's not bad at all. Mugen makes SOME good sounding exhausts too. For a japanese car I think it looks great.

The nicest thing about the TL is the interior. It is very slick and well thought out. It also comes with all the options as standard. Navigation, DVD surround sound system, built in phone, and satellite radio. When I was shopping for my car I looked at the TL, G35, and 330i. It was close but I couldn't turn down the overall ride of the 330i. It is really fantastic!
