HMMM. I GOT IT. That's cool man, I REALLY love the X5 also. When I first came to this forum, I was looking to get an X5 3.0i, but then my taste changed to the 330xi, and then to the 330Ci, and then I ended up with the G35C.
The X5 is such a sporty-looking SUV and it's not very roomy (rear seat room is kind of tight and the trunk is super small) so it's not really one of those "I'm great for hauling people and their shit around 24/7" SUV's. It's more like a "I look like a SUV, but I drive like a BMW" type of vehicle....I got no problems with a vehicle like that !!!
Btw, my good friend just got a Lexus RX330 and it's SUCH an incredible SUV. I can't believe how much better it is than the old RX300. The ride is still just as buttery smooth and comfy as the old one, but it handles really great also! The cockpit feels much more sporty, the engine sounds great (he whips the shit out of it, lol), the acceleration is great, and it's so luxurious on the inside! What I like about the RX330 is that it's an SUV that really doesn't act like one, but offers the utility of it. It is just a regular mid-size SUV, but trunk space and overall interior room is excellent (rear legroom is absolutely amazing for just a regular-sized SUV). I have to say, the RX330 is probably the most well-rounded and greatest SUVout on the market....I'm not surprised that Lexus is selling so many of them!
