325and735....first welcome to the board, second you cannot base your opinions about this board or its members and moderators by the Vtec vs. BMW thread. everytime this subject gets brought up, it always ends up getting all heated and ignorant and you are right about a bunch of "testosterone" whatevers talking smack. 99% of this board is made up of fairly educated and mature individuals that have a wealth of knowledge and or entertaining threads and topics. The term retard is used quite frequently in alot of different posts, some times jokingly and sometimes spitefully, I will do my best to refrain from the use of the word. thats the best I can do. Once again, welcome.

And as far as this whole Nazi B.S. goes.........yes the Nazi reich was responsible for the deaths of millions of people (Jews as well as others). But people...we must not forget that just because our (American) forfathers annihilated and entire civilization 70million+ (Indians)
That somehow you, me, Tom, Big Daddy or anyone else is to be held accountable for the their atrocites. Same goes with the Germans. My wife is 100% German, I met her here in Germany while I was a soldier stationed here, she is not a NAZI. Germans are not proud of that aspect of their history which is why when the German flag is folded, all that shows is BLACK, which is symbolic of remorse for what their forfathers did. Get the picture I am trying to paint?

First, I do not recall seeing any direct attacks against this segment or you specifically.

I do not believe there was even the slightest bit of true use of the word and absolutely no intentional harm even implied.

Your wish of mental retardation upon others is very sad and disturbing. And no disrespect but I think because of this comment you need to seek some professional assistance to help you meet the challenges you face. I have seen and worked with a lot of kids with problems and to wish this is not normal and I strongly feel this is a sign that intervention is required.

I was reading the replies and mine was probably a bit strong but seriously, there are people that can help. I am having a bit of a problem myself at home and I am going to a group meeting to help deal with a few things.

Sometimes groups of people similarly situated or one-on-one counseling can help with ways to approach situations for the best welfare of the child, which is the ultimate concern. I have been to a number of such meetings and they are worth the time.
