Same thing here, worse time it happened was merging onto a highway(!!) going about 30 mph in 2nd, right as I started to point forward, I gave it a little too much gas (never would have thought it was enough to do anything) and sure enough my rear end slid out and I was steering CRAZY to get it back, which it did with no problems. Thank god there were no Semi's barreling down the road at 65 mph!!!

I'm very careful around turns now, the Limited slip differential can save your life if you're trying to pull out quickly in rain, but it can mess you up if you dont know how to control it.

I wouldnt trade it for anything though!!!

Semi's at 65?????? where? From my experience they all do 75-80 and will litterally run you off the road if you're in their way. Theres no stopping them.......

yeah, i got inbetween two semis on an on ramp, and well, they didn't like that. the one in the back started honking, so near the bottom i jutted out and dipped (i usually never do that, i wait until i get TO the bottom) and so i cut across the white lines and the semi in front swerved all the way across the on ramp, the right lane, and left lane, so i was on the shoulder, and just when i snuck by him i saw that he too was now on the shoulder and looking very pissed off at me. so if i hadn't gotten in front i would've been in the ditch.

woah you should have taken down that "how's my driving number" I have had semis get within two inches of my rear bumper and then blow the horn at 1:30am on a foggy-heavy-rain night and I was doing 75, but never had one try and put me in a ditch...

Btw, I have noticed that truck drivers aren't exactly BMW enthusiasts...

Haha, when semis tailgate me, I like to tap my brakes real fast and accelerate away, listening to all 10 of the cab wheels lock up.. Done it a few times, and I must say the sound is beautiful. Works well on utility vans as well.

Instead of creating more danger for other people on the road, I just get around them. 3'd gear is perfect for passing!

Lol i dont think he ment then, but even so. Kinda dangers...plus semi's are better on the cb than police... they could potentially talk to drivers further up the road.

ummm usually the trailer tires lock up first. In fact its pretty hard to lock up the cab tires.....

by the way thats a pretty bad move. You could end up killing a lot of people from the truck driver losing control. You are proud of this?
