I am really sorry to hear about that Sean, its pretty sad how some can say that "you can afford it" it just stereotypes us BMW drivers all the time. No matter what for a manager to say that is not only rued but also shows he probably a lousy manager for his own business. I would see who his boss is and report it. But anyways, I would say first to find out who did it and everything. I live in San Jose, CA and there are stuff like this all the time I got typical a door ding the size of a quarter on my left fender last week from where I park my car in a garage complex couldn't do anything about it and the security was the same way "you can afford popping it out" ended up just getting it popped out for about 90 bucks from a local Dent Pro place since there was no paint damage but still its effed up that people have no courtesy for hit and runs... or even leave a note. I wish ya the best of luck dude and lets hope it turns out well.

It was a Walmart night manager... It was 9pm on a Sunday. I really wasn't expecting much. I don't think the officer was either. Eh; this world takes all kinds.

If it was a door ding, or even rubber marks left on my car from a slight brushing I wouldn't be so upset. But the person hit it so hard as to dent and scrape paint off and do a host of other damage. But by the looks of the damage, the guy was coming into the spot next to me really REALLY fast because after initial impact (back driver's side fender) he straightened up enough not to damage the door, but still knocked my mirror off and hit the front fender slightly. So the guy was driving recklessly; and to compound his initial error, he runs.
I don't know about others who drive big vehicles, but when I drive my Mom's Minivan I am super slow pulling parking spaces because I don't want to misjudge and hit someone.

sorry to rile you up with insurance talk.
i'm sure we can have some kind of debate when the dust settles.
in the mean time, like you mentioned above, take care of first things first, like your school, then fall back on getting your baby back on the road.
jus let your avatar take all your frustrations out on your behalf [:)]

lol... Michael Bolton. "There was nothing wrong with that name, until that no talent ass-clown started making albums." I love that movie. Haha.

Man sorry to hear that dude, same thing happened to my Audi a month after I got it. A van backed up into my rear quarter panel taking out my tail light and put a massive dent in the panel.

Yeah, I have exams in 2 weeks; you can wait. I'll definitely take and post pics; just gotta wait.

So, Emile, how's the rocket science coming along?
