About turn signals - it seems to me that most people just don't use them here in California, regardless of what kind of car they are driving, it pisses me off. The craziest drivers here in San Francisco not the bimmer owners but Asian mamas in Hondas and Toyotas, those ladies drive like there is no tomorrow.

I have friends from LA always accusing Norcal of not signaling...i gotta say, i dont use mine too often, nor do i see other people using them, unless they are really slow drivers...in LA i see people use them all the time

Dude, you better start using them, that's what they are made for. I grew up in Russia and there you can easily get a ticket (or get your face broken by other driver) for not showing turn signal so I do it automatically all the time. People driving behind you will know that you are about to make a maneuver and will be prepared for it.

not using turn sigs, wasn't that something you did as a kid? (altho the bad habit does stick around.. take me for example..)

here's my rule of thumb:
always signal when making a right hand turn, because you'll be slowing down quite a bit, and would be a courtesy for others behind you.
i turn my left or right hand sig off after a few blinks at a stop light, because you are already in the lane, no need to keep it going.. i gets annoying..
honk if some bastard cuts you off w/out signaling

its funny tho, that bmw drivers get singled out.. (i signal more now in my car, because i wouldn't want anyone to hit it

Showing turn signals that's what makes a difference between a good driver who respects other traffic participants and stupid ass behind the wheel.

scariest thing about not using blinkers

ppl in nj on the highway rarely indicate a lane
change thinking that everyone will stay where
they are....

numerous time in teh ml55 i'd pass ppl so quickly
that by the time they were begining a lane change
i'd already be at thier side (honking at them of course)

i can only imagine a motorcycle, who is MUCH faster
than my old truck and MUCH less visible just getting

Hence the reason for so many Motorcycle accident here in.Germany. The weather has been great for one week and I have already seen 7 motorcycle accidents. Crazy

Here it's usually people in luxury vehicles period. Total ASSHOLES that are oblivious through LIFE about others respecting others and their property. These are the same A-holes that don't think they have to wait in line when 2 lanes merge...they run right up the closed lane and try to cut in front of everyone else during construction etc. These people were raised by A-hole parents and neither of them never had a good punch to the gut. THey generally don't think rules apply to them...and most of them have KERRY stickers on their cars...go figure...a liberal with an entitlement attitude on the road too? That's not possible!

I'm kinda joking so don't go crazy on my "flame"! (As Cartman would say...Damn Hippies...ha haa)
