I really hate to say it, but it's a !#$%! to tell with that two tone paint job!

The grill kinda reminds me of barb-wire. Get rid of those tail lights and I think it has potential though.

wrong with it, i hope its not fwd nor auto
Well, since the regular version is RWD, I think it's safe to assume this version will be too. It'll probably come in auto since I don't think they have a manual tranny for the V8 yet. At least, not in the US to my knowledge.

I think it's a hit. Just a single though. Definitely not a homerun. It's a bit too little, too late. Nothing special about it other than Lexus'/Toyota's legendary reliability. Least the Caddy CTS-V has interior room to go with its monster power. Maybe if they keep it under $40,000 it could be a big hit. I mean, regular 330i or V8 IS could become a real dilemna kinda how teh G35 is serious competition due to its power and price advantage.

Aside from the paint job, I think the IS430 is going to kick ass. I think the regular IS300 is a really sharp-looking sport sedan and the IS430 will bring its sportiness to a whole new level.

Count me as a pass -

My hands are not soft enough to be a Lexus guy just yet in life.
Actually, people say the IS has a stiffer ride than the 3 series. That's one of its negatives, that it doesn't have that perfect ride quality balance that BMW has. I imagine the IS430 will be even stiffer than the regular IS.
