Ken, it's on its way!

Dan, I agree. What an awesome video. And the piece on the track was just awesome. Made me want an X5.
Yeeeehaw!! So glad you're all enjoying it, and my DVD is getting a nice US tour!! This is pretty cool.

Yeah, the DVD will make a lot of you want the new X5. What's so great about it, is that it has all the room and practicality of an suv, but it really does handle like a 5 Series sedan. The MBZ ML or GL, Range Rover, Lexus suv, etc are all great, but they handle and drive like an suv. The new X5 is so awesome to drive, no compromises at all. Lurve it!!!

I wonder how it would perform when compared to a Cayenne. I mean that is the only SAV that would probably be close to competing with it.

I've driven an X5 4.4i once; it was an automatic; that thing has serious pull. There were 4 big passengers in that thing with a bunch of stuff in the truck and she took off like hell. I can only imagine what the new one is like.

To be completely honest though, I like the front end of the old X5 better. The rear of the new one is so much better, but the front end hasn't grown on me. ALthough I like the fact that the fender joins with the bumper; I've always hated that seam.

Oh, and the plastics around the wheel... I'd like it more if it were the same color as the paint.

But these are minor complaints. I think it's one bad SAV.

After having both the 4.4i and the 4.8is, I think the new 2007 3.0si is pretty damned comparable to the old 4.4i. I am always amazed at how much power it has.

I agree, the new rear end looks great, and I now think the new front is so hot. The daytime running "Angel Eyes", make the new X5 look like one mean, bad ass mother f---er. If you look at the "old" one, it too had black plastic around all wheel wells, and also on the front and back (just maybe not as much though). What's funny is that when you see a 2004-2006 X5 on the road, it looks VERY similar to the new one. I think this is for sure the FIRST new BMW model to actually look like the old one. That's a good and bad thing!

Before I got the infamous Range Rover Supercharged, I test drove a new Cayenne S (V8). While it was fast, I didn't feel that it handled all that amazingly. To me, it felt like an SUV. It was slightly top heavy, and there was a lot of body roll around turns. It was by no means a bad car, but the X5 (new and old) out performs in every way (and both X5s look SO much better, IMO). The "new" Cayenne for 2007/2008 looks better, but it's still just a bit odd.

I have never driven a Cayenne, but I have been a passenger. It's very uncomfortable; I'm 6' 2" and I was stuck in the back seat. Very uncomfortable. I could appreciate the ride because I was so uncomfortable. But it did handle pretty well. And the sound was way sweeter than the X5. But if I had to chose, X5 any day.

I thought the reveiws tend to suggest that the Cayenne is better than the X5; is this just preference?

I just received the DVD last night, Sean!
Haven't opened it yet, too many things happening...
We are busy as hell here with the Concourse d'Elegance this weekend at work,
and worst of all...my hard-drive decided to quit!!!!
Well...it's been abused everyday by me for the last 6 years anyway.
So, I'm cut off the internet at home. I'm posting from work now.

Will get to watch it as soon as time permits, probably after this crazy weekend.

Watched the video last night, I enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing, Adam.

Makes me wanna get an X5 next!
The best part was the Nurburgring, I really want to make that a wish, someday I want to drive on the ring.

So, since there has been no response, I think I'd like to send it back to you, Adam.
Anyone? Or Adam, would you PM me your street address please?
