I just received the most awesome DVD from BMW. It's for the new X5, but it has amazing stuff about many models. It goes into great detail about manufacturing the new X5 (and the "old" one). Materials, design, testing, safety, etc

The Bonus Materials is at least 15-20 minutes about the Nürnburgring. The footage, commentary and interviews are so awesome! Lots of stuff about the E35, E46, M5 and also a great shot of Hans Stück hitting almost 190mph in a stock M6 (on what looks like a reg. freeway with "civilians" driving).

I don't know if you can request it from BMW, if you can you MUST get it. I also thought, we can also private message each other with our addresses, and we can share it. Watch it, then mail it to someone else. It'll be cheap to mail. Let me know.

It's soooo good!

Hey Mike and Dan,

It's really a cool DVD, with lots to choose in the menu, and I think the Bonus materials is sooo good.

Only problem with Deutschland, it that it won't be a couple of stamps, and throwing it in the mail.

Dan, let me know, if you want me to mail it to you, and then hopefully you can send it to someone (or back to me when you're done)

Would you be able to make copies of it and mail them out?
Individuals can pay for the copies and postage,
that way it doesn't have to get stuck at someones home,
and others don't have to wait. And you are sure to still keep the original!

Count me in though.

Hey Kenny! The disc was already mailed to Dan. Dan's gonna send it to Sean (Selavia) next, then Sean will send it to you. Either message me your address, and/or send it to Selavia.

I am at an APO so postage would be just to what sending it to New York would cost.

Regional coding is no problem.... i have a region free DVD player.

Hey Mike,

Cool. PM Sean (elavia) with your address, and when he's done with it, he can send it to you (unless Kenny gets it first, then Kenny & Mike exchange address info). Who ever has it last, just mail it back to me.

This is pretty cool, has there ever been a DVD swap around the world like this on our Board? [drinking]

Hi Jamal,

There are no copies (at least not yet). You can pm who has the dvd last, and have them mail it to you. Or if some nice person :) wants to make you a copy and mail it to you, that's cool too. All I ask, is that whoever has it last, just mail it back to me. I hope you all enjoy it. I found it really interesting to know everything about the new X5 (E70), and the Bonus materials on the Nürnburgring, plus lots more was pretty cool.
