I know I was caught on camera because of the huge red flash I saw come out of the camera as I went by.

Somewhere right about 130 mph................ I have alot of friends in the Polizei as does my Father in Law, and I am in good with the German/American Lawyer on post and she normally gets the tickets so hopefully nothing happens (fingers crossed) but if it does come to light................. then I will lose my licence for 3 months and have to pay 375 euro fine.

One ticket doing 70 mph over the posted limit??? In the states I would go to jail, 3 months will suck but it is easier than a stateside fine.

Ouch, but actually, looking at the circumstances, the punishment (if it comes to that) doesn't seem all that bad.

It doersn't take much to loose ones licence these days, serious speeding in excess of the limit can result in automatic disqualifications etc here in the UK and the fines are as nasty too. Good job you weren't caught doing this in the UK!!!

I got 4 points and 150 dollar fine for doing 63 in a 35, the cop lowered it to 60 in a 35 and the asshole judge tried scolding me by saying "that's too fast for a residental zone," even though it was a back road near no houses
