I sold the Bangle mobile today and actually shed a tear as I watched some strange man drive her away. Is that weird?

Can I still be a member here even though I have no BMW for the moment?

It's OK. I had that feeling once. I had an '86 Fiero GT, immaculate condition. Yeah, Fieros had issues, but I loved it! But with 2 young girls and an S10 Blazer that was dying, I had to get rid of both vehicles to buy the Suburban. I was SO sad to see it go, I told the buyer to take good car of it and I joked that I was going to check up on him to make sure. It made me feel better that he also loved Fieros and was like a kid in a candy store when he saw it. He drove 2 hours to buy it CASH - he peeled out $4200 in hundred dollar bills.

I remember the day I sold the 91 Prelude. I was very sad. That was a great car. I also remember when I sold the 2000 328i. I was very sad that day too unil I looked over and saw what I sold it for (M3). It wasn't so bad then.....

You are always welcome here Tool. Hurry and get another car. Keep us posted.

Stop whining all of you, damn it. Good riddance to bad rubbish, you sold it because this car sucks as far as I know.
i'm sure he had his moments w/ the car, like the time he was drivng through the woods at 130mph, avoiding deers [ohcrap] jk.. [:D] i mean the bahn and the bimmer? that combo can be addicting for a long time imo.

sorry to see that you had to part ways with your baby mike, but life goes on.. her habits just were too much for you to handle [:p]

The only difference is that every once in a while some uninformed person may make a comment like "Does this guy even own a BMW anymore?" and imply your lack of current ownership eliminates your ability to comment on BMW issues.

Fortunately, such fools are easily exposed. [thumb]

Heh, I remember before I owned a bmw, people ask a question like "My brake pedal vibrates and so does my steering wheel when I step on the brakes", and I'd reply and say "probably warped rotors" and i'd get a response "how do you know, you don't own a bmw" [rofl]
