My 318i (205,000+ KM) needed a new clutch and battery (due to sitting for 6 Months) while I had it. About a month after I sold the guy I sold it to had to fix an exhaust leak. Nothing too major. It also started leaking on the passenger side under the dash. I never did figure out what that was.

Mine is sitting at 117km bought in '03 its a '99 5er. Engine still running strong but having "minor" elec. problems: Bord computer display missing pixels, Brake lights going out, and front shocks and springs need to be replaced soon I think.

My car is 14 years old and has only done 125,000km [headbang] Dunno what that is in miles though, maybe 90K or something.

I love it.

143,000 on my '87 (gold with auto trans), and 252,000 on my '89 (Blau, 5 speed, dinan chip, cone air filter, cat back sys, strut bars front and rear - this is the one that I take to driving schools, club runs, ext). The '89 currently needs a water pump, but I'm waiting for it to cool off down here (at least below 100 degrees) and I will change t-belt, tensioner, fan clutch, belts, hoses, ect. to get ready for the fall and winter club events.

I have 213,000 miles on our 95 530i. It is running like a champ....This is my first BMW, the next one will be an M3, gotta have one of those....LOL

checked the 2000 740iL today, about 108,000...in the last 15k there ahve been over 3k in just radiator repairs (1 time the whole radiator needed to be repaired (end of January) and a week ago the water pump replaced) anyone else expereince radiator problems with a 740iL?
