Today as I was driving in Wiesbaden, Germany I came upon a light that was red. As I was minding my own business I heard this low growling, throaty exhaust sound coming from my right. As I looked over I became curiously aroused as I gazed upon a 2004 Lamborghini Murcielago that was orange in color (the first I have ever seen live). Now seeming that we both the first cars at the intersection we gave each other the knowing head nod....THERE WAS GOING TO RUBBER LEFT AT THIS LIGHT!!!!! For those of you who don't know, the traffic lights in Germany are like NHRA lights that go from RED to YELLOW to GREEN. As I grasped my wheel and dropped my steptronic into Drive Sport mode, I got butterflies. The light changes, the foot reacts, the cars leap forward and for about .00006 seconds I have the lead, then the driver of the Lambo realizes that the light has changed and he is on me like a fat kid on a cupcake. That guy ate my lunch like I gave it to him. I just had to say that I raced a Lambo and got SMOKED, but is was fun. God that car is so flippin awsome, I think I might rob a bank or pimp myself out...nah the later wouldn't work,[wiggle] so I can go buy one. This is what it looked like

I saw the guy again and he flashed his lights at me...surprising, there are a ton of new 5er's in this area. I wonder if he wants to waste my ass again. I know he was laughing his ass off, just as I do when a Golf tries to run with me on the Autobahn. I let 'em feel like they have a chance for a few hundred meters, then I gun it and leave 'em. I truly LOVE the Autobahn.

usa the street lights go red to green...but at night u can see the other lanes go from green to yellow (get revs up) to red. then boom u go on green!

530 stick? or auto?

This seems to be happening a bit to often lately. As I was driving on A3 last night, I noticed some Xenon lights behind me. The lights were always with me, speedup, slow down, speed up, slow down. As I was coming out of Aschaffenberg, the autobahn spits into 4 lanes and this is where you can really get on it, so I did. I looked in the mirror and the Xenons dropped a bit behind me and I naturally was all happy, (thought I smoked this fool) well.....I thought wrong, the Xenons were on me again so I got over into the other lane conceeding that I might not be running with a VW....NOPE it was a shiney new black M3, passed me while I was driving 145 mph. I was kinda impressed. Even though he passed me, I was still able to stay with him. Probably only because of the speed limiter of 260 kmh on the M3....with out it? I don't know. I wanted to flag him down and give him the address to the forum but we were going two different places. Anyway...the weather is getting better and drivers are getting more courageous, I think this is going to be a fun filled summer.

Yeah - fun...(all the above)

I once did a little beltway (like a freeway for those of you on the left coast) dogfight with a Diablo in my supercharged MR2. His size and my nimbleness gave me a bit of an edge through traffic (and I suppose it ticked him off) - because once we broke out...(with me in front!) he was gone...I mean gone...orbital velocity type gone...practically wasting me in his turbulence as he shot past me...still it was great fun certainly...and I did "have him" for a bit...

Hahahahahhaa, hey at least you admit it!!

I seriously wish we had some highways in the US where you could just flat out whip it, just like the autobahn. I know we have one highway or that doesn't have a speed limit, but isn't that in the desert or something?
