i just got my hands on a slim ps two tonight. (i can't believe there's a shortage!, i called like 5 places just to find 1!) i just opened it up, and my jaw dropped. it is sooo freakin small, and "way too cool for school man!" (bart's quote from simpsons road rage) guess this is what waiting 3years to pay half the original price will net ya. sucky that there is no motorized tray.. oh well.

GT4 is supposed to be an end all of racing sim. i hope it lives up to the expectations. (but w/ delays and such, you never know..) hopefully i'm wrong. can you believe i've been saving up pennies ot get this rig together? it better be worth it!

Just so you guys know. They completely rewrote the engine on this game. It may look the same (but better) however, they completely started over and redid the engine. That is one of the reasons this game was delayed. I was reading an article on this game. This will be, by far, the best racing sim created.

I was amazed that they started over and redid everything. All of the engine sounds are from the original cars.....

reviews are finally out. and its better than what i had feared, it just might let some wind out of fanboys' sails. i'm waiting on my copy, hopefully it'll get here by end of hte week... but whatever, w/ no online feat, no need to sharpen up my skills asap, so those college kids or unemployeed could whoop my butt in every online game after the first night. [:p] altho it is too bad that we couldn't do a bmwboard race or something. anyway, for those interested, i found 2 different reputable review sites below.

One of the things that I like about the game is the abilty to drive with the top down, you can actaully see the gauges and driver shifting the gears during the replay.
