Hey gang,

stats

- 1.8 Turbo
- 225 hp
- quattro

interiour
fits like a glove and looks awesome. for driver and co the car is really big and comfortable. for rear seats passengers....what rear seats??? [hihi]

exteriour
love it [hihi]

driving
[eek] [burnout] [driving] [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D]

this little turbo really kicked the s**t out of me. that engine works so brutal and aggressive...just awesome driving. together with the quattro this thing was like a slingshot. really cool and nice sound, too. i must say that this car is a real fun to drive and definetly in range as a new baby in my garage when i will sell the old bimmer (due to age and mileage)

hey tom, you got me [hihi]

well my bimmer is quite old and looses value any day now. so i am thinking about getting another car. as the human wish is always to improve and get better my next one has to have significantly more than 170 horses. air gets thin in that area especially when the budget is limited.

i have as options a

325ci from 01, w/o navy, otherwise packed, 40TKM (25Kmiles) 23000 EURO
TT 225 hp 01, w/o navy, otherwise packed, 32TKM (20Kmiles) 24000 EURO

and there is the problem. the bimmer is a little oder and has less power, but is still a bimmer.
the TT has much more power and was really fun. falling-in-love like, you know?!

my girl doesn´t like it, so i am better of with the 325ci. btw, it´s dark green, m package, chromeline 5 speed manual. i´ll try to get an appointment for that car the next days.

Did you have a problem seeing stoplights? Heard that was a common complaint.
actually no, but i was too quick anyway [rofl]
but you are right, the TT is not really good as far as overview is concerned. the small windows give it a tank-alike feeling.

Viewspots on a car are big for me, the more I can see, the safer I feel about the folks driving *around* me.

I know the 'tank' feeling you're talking about, I had a rental ford mustang a few years ago when I was on a biz trip in Tampa Fla. That thing felt like a casket, I mean it was 'dark' in the car, there was so little light..

Have not had the thrill of sitting in a TT, but I hear good (and bad) things about them. I have 'heard' that they tend to dive into corners more than you'd expect of a tight little sports car. (more body roll then you'd expect) Have you heard or did you experience that? (It sounds like you did not, it sounds like it was a thrilling ride!)

sorry xlibelle, i forgot to answer your question

the S2000 is no more interesting. i know that s2000 and RX-8 are quite similar what power is concerned. both don´t have that much torque and need endless revs to get moving. after driving the rx 8 i do not need a s2000 anymore. the kind of engine is not for me.

tt...that little tank is amazing. i love it. period

boxster, yes definetly great. people tend to say it´s not a real porsche and i agree if you think that only a 911 is porsche. but i changed my mind to thinking that you have a 911 which ist the real and unique porsche. but for a roadster the boxster looks great and has big power too. i like it very much and if i had the bucks, the "S" would be one option.

clk...are you kidding me?

Z3...well yes, it´s a bimmer....but not that great for me unless it is the M roadster. blink to big daddy here [hihi] i like the z4 styling better but they are still way too expensive form me.

and my dilemma is that my heart needs the TT but my mind wants the 325ci (besides, my girls hates the TT)

The Audi TT Roadster (225hp quattro 6-speed) is one of the most pleasant vehicles to drive. It is so much fun to be inside, the engine is great, it handles so well, and it is great to whip without wearing you down. I have driven them several times and I absolutely love it every time I get behind the wheel!
