Hmmmmmmm, okay, how many people with E46's have to pull the handle twice to get out of the car?? [scratch]

Only if I lock myself in. [:)]

If you don't lock the doors while driving, or have the 'autolock' feature on (locks kick in once you get to speed) then you don't do the 'double open' to really open the door. You must be locking it, or have the autolock routine on.

(E46 that is)

double lock feature?? I tried that on my car and well.. i didn't hear a 2nd click of the locks, or anything. Does it work with the remote on the key? turning the key 45 degrees to the right. closed my windows and my sunroof.

Also for all owners with the double lock feature (so far it only sounds like e30's have this???) call your insurance company and make sure they know your car has it!! I got about $20/month taken off of insurance for having it.
