GFY!!!!!!!!

Big daddy, do you know someone under 18 who can buy cigs from them? Get them the hell off of here.

Also - I believe it's illegal to buy cigs from PA w/out paying the tax (which makes that $15 carton $35).

Ordering cigarettes online is not a crime. I know smokers who purchase cartons online for around those prices although they do have to pay shipping so they end up paying a little more than $15 a carton but it's still a great deal. This is just an example of one of those "Internet loopholes" for which there are no laws yet.

"Thanks to a state law that went into effect last week, it is illegal for New Yorkers to receive cigarettes delivered to their home or place of business...The law means that hardworking United Parcel Service drivers can be arrested if they're caught delivering cigarettes. And you as a consumer could get nailed, too, since signing for those smokes is a class E felony." (NYDailyNews)

I think there are big tax issues that make it illegal most everywhere. Like here in Nevada alcoholic beverages cannot be ordered through any legitimate company because shipment and/or receiving them here is illegal.

Bryan, I believe it's only NY that has to deal with that law because NYC has special ridiculous taxes for their cigarettes. It's like $8 now for a pack of smokes in NYC...absolutely insane. Regarding alcohol, there are a lot of online stores that will sell alcohol to you in most states but it's usually limited to beer and wine.

epj3, $15 is definitely a crazy low price but I don't think it's "too good to be true". In Vermont you can buy a carton of cigarettes for like $20 or $25 after tax. MCity1 seems to try to avoid all the taxes and duties and stuff trhough loopholes, if you browse around their web site you'll see.

Just quit.........that way you tell Washington to take their outrageous Cig tax and stick it up their HINIES. I can remember as a Private in Europe 12 years ago...a carton of Marlboros was 8 bucks and Generics were 2.50-3.00 a carton. Gotta love Cliton. That is why I quit.

Im pretty sure its up to the state, I know in MN you can buy tobacco products online, I know one of the big issues here is there is no real way to ID someone to be 18 when they are buying online, its mostly one of those honorsystem things. I know this for sure because my buddy who was 16 at the time bought a box of 50 cigars and they shipped to his house. All he was asked was "Are you 18?" (yes or no)" lol

Alright I saw prices at the gas station today (who had "Lowest price by law" signs)

$38.12 for a pack of the same marlboro's that he has on his site for $15. I'm sure PA would be pissed if they found that out!!

The republicans like Bloomberg in New York have taxed them underground. $1 a pack increase? That's $10 a carton right there. Big surprise they've created a thriving underground market and their taxes actually go down. I supose it's best that they get us off cigarettes though?

Another deliberate attempt at twisting the facts by the liberal left, "President Clinton and the Democratic leadership hope to pay for health care reform, in large part, by increasing taxes on tobacco products. The original Clinton bill would have added a 99-cent tax on every pack of cigarettes to the current federal tax of 24 cents and state and local taxes of about 28 cents. The versions of the Clinton plan introduced by Senator George Mitchell (D-ME) and Representative Richard Gephardt (D-MO) would increase the federal cigarette tax to 69 cents a pack, while the Senate Finance Committee health bill would raise the tax to $2.24 a pack. " (see link for complete article) Although in this case I agree, tax them to death.

I take it you don't smoke. It really bugs me when people complain about not being able to smoke in public. They smoke, make me have to smell that god-awful smell, and then throw their butts on the ground (Still do not understand how this is not considered littering!!!!)

It's absolutely PROVEN that the chemicals in tobbaco smoke is harmful (though these smokers disagree; I guess their degrees in bio chem and extensive studies they've done prove the other scientists wrong!!!). If it's harmful, why would you be allowed to smoke in public around young kids and old people, or just those like me who absolutely HATE it?

There's a reason I can't build myself a little fire on the sidewalk in the middle of times square...
