Is there a turbo kit for your car? Im pretty sure a turbo puts less stress on the engine that a supercharger as a turbo is not belt driven.

The way it was explained to me is that a Turbo can cause more damage to the engine than a Supercharger as a Turbo is exhaust driven vs. Supercharger is forced induction. I guess the added back pressure of a Turbo causes the piston rings to fail quicker and causes the engine to get hotter than a supercharger, thus an intercooler is a mandatory add on... not optional.
