Noticeably more aggressive! I probably gained 15-20 more ponies. The exhaust note (shall I say ... growl) is simply sweet! The kids like it when I crank it up in the garage. The dealership took alot of photos in the shop for me. My wife is now asking me for the keys to run it to the mall for the ladies. Of course, I just said NO. Anyway, if you come across the opportunity to do, I'd certainly reccomend the upgrade. I feel even better that the work was done by the dealer folks who've maintained the car since birth.
Next up, I'm considering either a VF Engineering supercharger for an add'l 100 hp or turning it into a Nitros car next year. I'll probably just leave well-enough alone, eh.
Thoughts?
Experience.....
Nitrous and Supercharger will signifigantly reduce the life or longevity of your car. There are some hefty upgrades that come with a Supercharger and or Nitrous and most have a hefty price tag to boot.
Example of "must have" upgrades....
New Head(s) with a higher compression ratio
new pistons and rods, lifters and springs
High flow oil pump and high capacity oil pan
High flow fuel pump and injectors
New cam
And..... Most importantly.... NEW BRAKES.
There are several other minor things that "should" be upgrades as well, like cam and caster plates, stiffer suspension and a higher life insurance policy.
JME (just my experience) all these upgrades need to be done PRIOR to the addition of a Supercharger and or Nitrous. Such upgrades on my Bullitt will cost me about 12k all together, on a Bimmer.... definately alot more.
Whatever you decide to do... good luck
