Clear wheels?

I disagree. Take a close look at the bottom picture. You can see a reflection in the glass of another wheel. Then look at the top picture. There is a Scion sitting on that same side of the car. Go to the Scion web site and look at the wheels.

Now imagine where the photographer was standing and think about the angle of reflection - it matches up perfectly with where the Scion is sitting. The reflection is an exact match of the Scion wheel AND you can also see a distorted reflection on the rear fender of the car. That's just WAY too much work to Photoshop the Scion in the first picture AND the wheel reflection in the second picture.

Not sure why everyone thinks it isn't possible. They build windows that can hold pressure 3 miles under the ocean and windows that work in orbit. The forces on those wheels are hard, but not as hard as you think.

Yeah, it's not a big deal. I have a clear wing on the 325 that I use for Autocross to get a little more downforce on the rear. It stands up to the stresses quite well, but since it's clear nobody notices it, and nobody accuses me of being a ricer. You can hardly see it in this picture.

You should see my clear engine.

You can see the wing from that angle.

(i didn't say it's not a big deal, I just said it's definitely not impossible. And some cars do have plastic wings and spoilers!)

Yeah, it doesn't look at all like a fake to me. On what grounds was it ruled a photoshop? My guess is that people couldn't think of how or why someone would do that, so they decided it must be photoshop.

I agree it's not impossible at all, it's really not very difficult. With a bandsaw, drill press, a slab of lexan, and good woodworking skills, it's *very* doable.

Hehe, Clear engine, you mean this, the Visible V8?

I built one of those models when I was a kid, back in the BC days (Before Computers).

Hahah my uncle had one as a kid and it is still at my grandparent's house. Where is the DOHC see-through engine? I'll build one of those [:p]

Know what's crazy? I just got home from college and found one of those sitting on the coffee table; my dad got it for my little bro for his birthday. It's an L4, but crazy coincidence.
