Hi everyone!

Did you already see the pictures released by BMW of the new 1-series?





Looks quite cool, although BMW 120i sounds a bit peculiar to me; still got to get used to it.

It's about the same size as the E30 was, I like that.
I can't wait to see more versions of it, maybe a touring even!

back-end looks great! looks atrocious from the side and the front :(

im having a hard time getting used to these new rooflines on the bmw's ....

edit: come to think of it, the back end reminds me of an astra....

If you take a close look at the NAV display in the 1 Series pictures, it shows an I-Drive like image on the screen. In one of the pictures, just to the right side of the steering wheel there is a silver thingy. I-Drive Knob? Something else?

From what I can tell, the iDrive knob is still in the same place. I can't tell what the button to the right of the wheel is, though.

I like the sides and rear.

But the eyes look fussy. The hood line is ugggly...and I've never much cared for the new cute-sy creases in the kidney grill.

Overall...it seems just okay. I don't know what Bangle was talking about when he said the board wanted to differentiate the product lines. This car looks like any of the other new ones.

I'm glad to the see the lines coming off the kidney grill go straight back again (like the pre-face lift 3 series).

I just wish they had stuck to the cut of the hood being well above the kidney as on the CS1...and like the new 6. Having the cut right there above the kidney looks sloppy.

Maybe you can turn the front bumper upside down and get a frown like the Z4.

That looks pretty nice, is it only gonna come in a hatchback, or will a small sedan or coupe be available too? Also, how big is it? like a Ford Focus 5-door wagon?
