Very nice video Tom. That thing is fast as hell, however I don't think I would want one.....
I feel the same way Scott and don't forget that EVO costs about $75k US...I can think of a few better cars for that kind of money.

Wow $75k, for that price I know most Americans will/could not see themselves shelling out that kind of money on a "known" Japanese platform. There are going to be your diehard enthusiast and Mitsu lovers that may dabble with spending that kind of money on an Evo, but IMO that car here in the US would not receive a very good welcome.....

P.S. Tom I know of many other cars that I would want instead of that car. Heck, you could get 2 very nice cars for that price....

I'd have it on my website but were having server problems if not the video for both the Mustang and the Evo would be up....so sad well anyways I suggest you download it from some bittorent place, I'll try to find a link. I get the full episodes from a friend in Sheffield and he uploads them to my webserver but I'm not sure I can host them until they come out on the flixvault servers :p
Let us know when you get that shit up, I really like the Flixvault site. [thumb]

Other than all the pitfalls of the car - it was interesting that a ferrari couldn't shake it.. I just don't see the value in it - even the 'audience' it's built for I don't think would be into it. I'd think that they would argue that you could get a much cheaper version of the Evo, and do your own mods and come away with a better/solid car than that one stock (Faster, and better handling..). 3 yr warranty, needs service every 4.5k miles, 'undresses' itself over 100mph (as he said), and got beat by a beater 1.3l loaner car in top gear.. [scratch]

I couldn't see that car in my garage, if I had 10 garages, and a warehouse like Jay Leno..

Well ok, if I had the warehouse. [:)]

Thanks for the video Tom!!

That's what I get for watching the video, and then changing a diaper before I posted.. [nutkick]

I don't fit in them, so they're pretty much off my plate, even with the Jay Leno warehouse. I take back my earlier remark!

Sometimes it pays to be small, lol. [;)]

I haven't been small since middle school, what's that again? [cheers]

Sorta funny - even in my bimmer, if I'm at a intercection making a right, most of the time I'm looking out the 2nd driver-side window not my own.

The guy from Top Gear looks scrunched in there - I could get in but I'd need the jaws of life to get out of it. That or pull a police academy and rip out the front and sit in the back.

Lol, you think that's bad? Try sitting in the back seat of an Audi TT Coupe. I'm only 5'7" 145lbs and I had NO chance of getting back there. Very impractical back seat, but kinda cool because maybe the back seat is reserved only for the tightest of girls.
