Ya the GS does have a lot of design cues from the BMW.

They had another article that showed Chris Bangle and the BMW team were admiring the new GST that premiered at the show.

"OK, we know what you're thinking....but don't be so fast to jump to conclusions here...ALL the designers cruise around to look at the different vehicles...But, we will say, our spies saw more BMW people over the three day period, investigating this car more than ANYTHING else that was at the show.

Employees from ALL levels of the company.

The Spies predict BMW already has a competing vehicle in their future bags of tricks...."

There was also a pic of bangle in case you've never seen him before. He is the bald guy and the guy to the right of him is the head of Mercedes Benz design.

I don't know if you were joking or not but Bangle is the guy near the top right with the gay haircut and the glasses. The bald guy is someone they put there to take up space.

Any of you see that cellphone commercial where they are freaking out over big bills, and then the camera goes to a guy inside his house, who has the wireless bill in his mouth and he shakes it like a dog?

That guy looks like bangle:

Wow, one rumour and we've all got the guy packed up and gone. Question. if the cars are so ugly why do sales keep increasing? [paranoid]
Give it a year or two. People always want the new thing. Apparently, those trying to trade in their 7 series are finding massive depreciation according to AutoSpies. The 5 isn't as ugly so the effect prolly won't be as bad, but I suspect BMWs resale will go down in a few years.

They're not. A friend of mine knows some guy in London who said that when the E39s came out (pre-2004 for those of you that don't speak BMW) there was a 9-month waiting list. Now, with the new ones out, the dealer lots are PACKED with them.

sales are increasing because of one thing in my opinion.... low ass intrest rates. not to mention that every other luxury manufacturer also have similar increases in sales. i saw this on cnnnews about a month ago, but they didn't credit the low rates, they credited the 9/11 event as it being a cause for americans to go out a spend money because life is "short lived", to put it in their words.

I thought Bangle is the guy in the middle with a beard and glasses?
You sure he's the bald headed one?
