I think it looks nasty. I still can't warm up to the rear on this car (although I don't have a problem with the bum on the 7er) and that color and those wheels are gross. I also think that those wheels look like shit: the spokes are way to thin and the grayish color doesn't fit--not quite chrome, definitely not clear-coats (which is what I prefer anyway).

Oh well, just one less Bimmer for me to covet, I guess.

There's a black one at work (645) - Prez of one of these 'spawned off' companies my IT dept supports owns one. I keep meaning to line up next to him in the deck and get a photo (He gets a 'select' spot, no one has a pass to park on either side of him either from what I understand).

The 645 goes for what.. 75k with options, the 'vert 80k with options.. The M is probably cresting the 100k mark, I'd suspect?

A friend of mine owns a 645ci and it is sweet. He let me drive it (as long as I let him drive the M) and it very very nice riding car. I like the new 5 and 6 series and can't wait to see the M5/M6...

You really need to get over the whole "SMG" thing. BMW isn't going away with it. It is here to stay. I am not sure why you are so suprised?.....

I'm quite sure the wheels are not looking their best, since the car is being tracked and I'm sure the pads are taking a beating? Ala black wheels that look nasty?

To each their own tastes. Not wanting to make this personal or any sort of flame, but you consistantly are letting us know of your distaste of the newer BMW's, and your likely move to Lexus or something else - do you hang out on these forums, and listen to the bitch sessions people have about those cars to?
